Carl Warren, President and CEO of the North Carolina Railroad Company (NCRR), was appointed to the distinguished Passenger Rail Advisory Committee (PRAC) on Thursday, March 28th, 2024. Warren was selected to fill the seat as an at-large representative for a three-year term.
The Federal Surface Transportation Board announced the establishment of the PRAC in November 2023. The Committee will provide ongoing advice and guidance on passenger rail transportation to aid the Board in fulfilling its statutory responsibilities. This includes initiatives to improve efficiency, resolve disputes between passenger and freight rail carriers, and streamline regulatory processes, all benefiting the public, communities served by passenger rail, and environmental conservation.
