North Carolina Railroad Company Announces New Flagging & Safety Services

The North Carolina Railroad Company (NCRR) is proud to announce the launch of its latest service product, providing flagging, safety, and protection services within its rail corridor. These new services are a significant milestone in the company’s 175-year history, as they leverage the company’s rail expertise to deliver best-in-class solutions for capital, development, and maintenance-of-way projects.

These flagging and safety services allow for qualified Roadway Worker-in-Charge (RWIC) and flaggers to ensure safety and coordination during construction, repair, and maintenance projects. The workers are experienced Class I and II railroad industry veterans, trained to offer competitive and readily available services.

Leading the program will be NCRR’s Safety & Compliance, Senior Manager, John Gass. With over three decades of experience in the Class I railroad industry, Mr. Gass is well-versed in railroad operations, safety, maintenance, and management. His expertise is particularly valuable in ensuring that NCRR’s safety and compliance standards are implemented and followed effectively.

” NCRR is a railroad company that promotes and facilitates opportunities leading to economic gains for North Carolina. Our focus on rail & safety expertise is just one of the ways we provide best-in-class solutions for the state of North Carolina.  NCRR’s new Track Protection Program will help projects along our corridor deliver on time and safely” Trish Haver, Chief Commercial Officer.
